If Apple does not announce a touchscreen tablet device, the one kind of the weakest of the history of the rumor mill. There are some rumors that seem wilder than others - such as the Apple tablet have 3D graphics, but there are also a varied selection of very plausible speculation.
Based on the prevailing rumors, says my PC World peer Bill Snyder, that the Apple tablet will all flash with no substance and no place in a business environment. I disagree. While I was with some of the potential dangers Snyder shall agree, I think that the Apple Tablet PC could be uniquely suited for smaller office environments.
A platform like the Apple tablet - as it is on the iPhone mobile operating system and has appropriate the extensive library of iPhone applications can run - for small businesses. For smart phones in general have evolved to the point that they are only a very small computer, and for almost every function of a business user could perform: "There is an application."
There have been times, as well as an iPhone owner and as a Windows Mobile smartphone that I've decided to back my laptop while traveling. The smartphone can receive my e-mail, surf the Internet, instant messaging conversations with colleagues, view and edit documents (with the right tools, depending on the platform).
Try the legions of iPhone users already use the device for everything, and there is a growing group of companies with more applications on devices iPhone-friendly features and allows the secure integration of the iPhone with the business.
Although the newer devices like the Droid Nexus One and the iPhone in terms of hardware specifications have beaten the iPhone is still relatively fast, has an intuitive interface that is provided with a clear, bright display and has applications for virtually any purpose. The biggest obstacle, just with the iPhone as your primary mobile computing device is great.
An Apple tablet, a bright display extensive battery life, intuitive interface and endless list of uses of the iPhone in a larger form factor you can read and interact with them offers is a perfect appliance for small businesses. It is not just "an application for it," but most applications are free or very cheap - especially if the investment required for adult computer comparison.
I certainly do not expect large companies with traditional desktop and notebook computers, and deploying tens of thousands of Apple tablets - especially if the tablet is running on the iPhone mobile operating system called Mac OS X. Leaving a Windows-based tablet has an automatic advantage in contrast to the company, although the HP unit, indicated by Steve Ballmer at CES this year, less than convincing.
Let's face it. Until Wednesday rolls around and the new Apple Tablet PC is epic ... or not, Snyder speculation is possible, just like mine. Assuming that Apple will begin with a Tablet PC or some form or another at this event, the success of this device for its entire functionality and usability will be determined on a cost-balanced ... mixed with a healthy dose of Apple Teflon reputation and devoted fan base.
