Motorola said that buyers of China's Android-based smartphones can choose local search engine Baidu instead of Google, the Internet giant rear platform mobile software.
"Users will be able to choose their search experience from a variety of sources, including Baidu and others, including Motorola has signed strategic agreements," Motorola said in a statement.
Google has promised to stop the filtering of search results as required by law in China, and may be forced to pull out of the country as a result.
Motorola has announced the feature of "new" on Android phones with the launch of a store smartphone demand from China called Zhi-Jian-Yuan, translated from the Place of Wisdom Apps "in English.
"By offering a choice in their applications and services, Motorola is to let consumers in China, adapt, how they experience the power of the mobile Internet, China Telecom said in a statement.
The "SHOP4APPS" services and research opportunities with Baidu will be available preloaded on the Android handsets or over-the-air updates "by New Year's Day in China in mid-February, according to Motorola.
"We want the phone to reflect our lifestyle and our choices," China Unicom said in a statement.
"The ability to choose our own search sites, our own chat service, our own games, and craft our own mobile experience is to help China Unicom to keep the promises of 3G."
Motorola is working closely with companies in China and "partner ecosystem" as Baidu to offer a range of services smartphone, including email, maps and research from Motorola Mobile Devices Christy Wyatt, Vice President.
