Sega make emulator for iPhone, iPod Touch

According to Gizmodo, imitating a split approved Sega Genesis, this time with Ultimate Genesis. It is obvious that an iPhone application allows users to download games that cost between $ 3 and $ 6 Best of all, it is experiencing a good way, the console has changed the debate playground for ever.

Kids these days do not know what the console wars is that is in the 90s when Nintendo had its first real competition. The cabinet was with posters falling mascot, sports fields have been filled with endless comparisons of "bits", the "blast processing", "Super FX" and that the console was the game looks beautiful. The children will do their utmost to persuade his friends to their website and buy their beloved console choice.

As for me, I was a child of Sega. When Sega broke the console race, we were like refugees from a lost cause. But like everything Sega has never disappeared. They just went third, so the game on other platforms.

Now Sega has produced games for the iPhone. Some of these games were a few tracks more Genesis emulators, but the performance of slightly less than an iPhone 3G was a bit pathetic. Indie developer Christian Whitehead showed the ports of origin of the Genesis and Sega CD games could make the iPhone, but Sega has never said a word about them, and net ports emulated Genesis reduced to almost nothing.

The original group sound of the title for Genesis Ultimate includes classics such as underestimation of the Shining Force, a strategy RPG manufacturer of Golden Sun, Ecco the Dolphin, a beautiful game, but crazy platform that almost requires an examination at the end, Golden Ax, Conan - influenced beat-'em-up from the team to play the later House of the Dead, and of course, Sonic the Hedgehog, then, when his game is fun to play. The program also comes with Space Harrier II, a shooter of this type of wings in relation to the original arcade game, but it should give you an idea of how the emulator is running on your iPhone.

Ultimate Genesis is apparently due to an early release in February, which meant that Sega could boast with justice that Genesis does what Nintendon't.
