Since its founding in the 1980s, the Internet domain names to 26 characters of the Latin alphabet used in English was limited, and 10 digits and the hyphen. Technical tips were used to allow the parties to Internet address with other scripts, but until now had the suffix to use these 37 characters.
An announcement on Thursday by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers, ICANN, as is known, appear to pave the way for an entire domain name in Cyrillic or Arabic in the middle of this year. Applications for Strings in other languages are pending.
This means that Internet users with little or no knowledge of English is no longer necessary to type Roman characters access to web pages specifically Russian or Arabic. Although search engines can sometimes help to reach the users of these sites, companies still need to include Roman characters on the ads.
Users can still have Latin letters for e-mail, but develop as a team, the Internet standards for e-mail applications, which include domain name, you can complete in Cyrillic or Arabic.
ICANN has a tentative agreement with the four countries, after years of discussion and examination of non-Latin names. The demand for them has been increased around the world Internet usage is growing among people of different languages.
Some countries have issued some domain names in non-Latin alphabets - with the suffix in Latin script. But Egypt, Russia, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates have said Tina Dam, senior director for the program Internationalized Domain Names ICANN.
For the three Arabic-speaking countries, it would have been too much confusion, because their language is from right to left, while some would be left to write Latin. These suffixes are:

• The Arabic equivalent of "AlSaudiah", short for Saudi Arabia.
• "Emirates" writing in Arabic for the United Arab Emirates.
The four countries retain their existing character of the two Latin suffix -. "Example" for Egypt. "Ru" for Russia. "SA" for Saudi Arabia. "Ae" for the United Arab Emirates.
ICANN has applications from 16 countries in eight languages available since mid-November. Officials are no details on the publication under consideration.
